Aloysius Przytula

Aloysius Przytula died at peace on Friday, November 9 after a long illness. Born in Dunkirk, NY he was the son of the late Antoinette (Krylowicz) and Stephen Przytula and moved to Fredonia at the age of fourteen.

He is a retired Pressman from Allegheny Ludlum/Sunbeam Steel and the owner of Al Przytula Television Repair and Sales. Sergeant Przytula served 4 1/2 years during World War II, as a member of the 752nd Field Artillery and was involved in the invasion of North Africa, the invasion of Italy and the invasion of France.

He is a member of St. Joseph's Church in Fredonia and American Legion Post 434 in Brocton, NY.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Delphine (Polasik), a son Robert of Nampa, Idaho, a son Donald of Wappingers Falls, NY, a granddaughter Rachel Woods and a great-granddaughter, Victoria Woods, both of New York City. He also survived by a brother, John Przytula and two sisters Lillian Polasik and Shirley Tilburg and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he is predeceased by one brother, Peter, three sisters; Julia Gaszynski, Helen Bielecki and Genevieve Siebert and one grandchild, Russell Steven Przytula.

A funeral service will be held in the Chapel at St. Columban's on the Lake in Silver Creek at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 13. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. No prior visitation.
