St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish Pastoral Council met Tuesday and welcomed a new member. Edmond Schober became the newest member of the council after the resignation of two members. Any parishioner wishing to serve may contact the pastor for more information.
Kyle Zurawski recently tendered his resignation, as he is leaving in January for an internship at Disney World in Florida.
The council is also seeking assistance for its annual Christmas Basket Project to help the needy. Volunteers will be needed to help with set up, packing, and some deliveries of baskets to needy families. The dates are Dec. 14, 15 and 16.
Other news has the Council Subcommittee on Communications working hard on several projects. This committee is comprised of Walt Drag, Adam Woelfle, the Rev. Dennis Riter, and Jim Palmatier, chairperson.They ask that anyone with suggestions or ideas to improve communications contact the parish office.
The next meeting of the Pastoral Council will be held on Jan. 8, 2013.
