LEON - The Leon Celebration Fellowship Church is welcoming new members. Sunday Services at 10 a.m. were resumed in September by vote of its members. Services had been held at 6 p.m. for the summer for the convenience of the congregation.
There is always something new going on at the church, such as the recently-held "Cowboy Sunday" - all members wore cowboy hats to help visualize the sermon that presented the Bible from a country perspective.
The congregation feels that charity begins at home. At the beginning of this school year, school supplies were collected and given to students at Pine Valley and Randolph schools.
