Emily Ann Brooks Volk and Aaron Todd Smith were united in marriage June 16, 2012, at 2 p.m. in a double-ring ceremony at Trinity Episcopal Church in Fredonia.
The bride is the daughter of Vanessa and Roger Volk of Fredonia. The groom is the son of Anita and Ernest Smith, also of Fredonia.
The Rev. Robert Arnold performed the ceremony. The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father. The bride's attendants included Danielle Sutton of Granville, Ohio, as matron of honor and Alyssa R. Smith of Fredonia, sister of the groom, as a bridesmaid. Addison M. Volk of Silver Creek, the bride's niece, served as flower girl.

The groom's attendants included David Fowler of Granville as best man, and Andrew B. Volk of Silver Creek, brother of the bride, as a groomsman. The ring bearer was Caleb D. Volk, the nephew of the bride.
A reception followed the ceremony at the White Inn in Fredonia. The couple honeymooned in the Thousand Islands.
