PERRYSBURG - Matthew Burke, 25, of Railroad Avenue was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana on Oct. 10. He was observed driving without a seat belt on Route 39. He was found to be intoxicated when police stopped him and was observed throwing a container with marijuana to the ground. He was found to have a BAC of .20. He was released on an appearance ticket for the Perrysburg Town Court.

DAYTON - Damian Beardi, 45, of Buffalo was charged with driving while intoxicated on Oct. 11. Police responded to a truck off the road. Troopers were alerted to the truck by members of the Dayton Volunteer Fire Department. While speaking with Beardi, police detected an odor of alcohol and was found to have a BAC of .10. He was released on appearance tickets for Dayton Town Court.

COLLINS - David Turner, 43, of Springville was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated on Oct. 12 following an accident. Turner was traveling east on Route 39 near Kerr Warner Road when he was distracted by a dog in his vehicle. He crossed into the west bound lane side swiping a truck hauling a trailer driven by Ernest Fuchs, 41, of Brant. Fuchs was able to pull off the road into a nearby driveway while Turner ended up in a plowed farmer's field. Turner's BAC was found to be .19. He was released on appearance tickets for Collins Town Court.

BRANT - Adam Puleo, 30, of Lackawanna was charged with three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possessing a controlled substance not in the original container on Oct. 16. Troopers stopped the car he was driving on Route 5 in Brant for an inadequate headlight and smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the car. A search of the vehicle revealed a plastic bottle containing over 30 pills, all controlled substances. Troopers also found a female passenger, Sarah White, 25, of Derby, in possession of a small amount of marijuana. She was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Both were released on appearance tickets for the Town of Brant Court.
