Joan A. McFadden, 77 years old of Fay Street, Brocton, New York passed away Thursday evening November 15, 2012 at Westfield Memorial Hospital in
Westfield. Joan was born on September 7, 1935 in Dunkirk, New York and was the daughter of the late Robert and Bertha Morrison. She has been a Brocton
resident all her life. Joan was a well loved and respected fourth grade teacher in the Brocton Central School System for thirty six and a half years.

She was a graduate of the Fredonia Normal School of Fredonia, N.Y. where she had received her Bachelor of Science degree. She was a member of the
Eastern Star of Fredonia, N.Y. Joan also loved and enjoyed going to the Flea Markets with her husband Don. She is survived by two sons, Dale (Debbie)
McFadden of Orlando, Florida and Todd (Tracey) McFadden of Fredonia, New York, and four grandchildren Garrett, Lauren, Seth, and Julia. She was predeceased by
her husband Donald (Boomer/Thumper) McFadden whom she married July 9, 1958 and who passed away April 7, 2002. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 20 at 11 a.m. from the Morse Funeral Home in Brocton, New York. The Rev. Gordon Spiller will officiate. Interment will follow at the Portland Evergreen Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the Morse Funeral Home in Brocton, New York from 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday Evening Nov. 18 and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday Nov. 19. The family kindly suggests Memorials be made to The Brocton Fire Department, Lake Ave. Brocton, N.Y 14716. Arrangements were made by the Morse Funeral Home of Brocton, N.Y.
