Frederick J. Ward, age 62, passed away at his home in Dunkirk, NY on Thursday, November 15, 2012. Born December 6, 1949 in Dunkirk, he was the son of the late Gerald H. and Bernice V. (Kulpa) Ward. Fred attended St. Mary's Grammar School, was a graduate of Cardinal Mindszenty High School Class of 1968, and served
in the United States Army. He was passionate about fishing and loved the water, sports, and playing pinochle and Mille Bornes with family and friends.

topped the list. Fred is survived by his two daughters, Kelley S. Ward of Kenmore, NY, and Kristin M. Ward of Batavia, NY, and his granddaughter
Madysen A. Henault of Batavia. He is also survived by his sister Diane J. (late Joseph) Bohn, and his two brothers the Very Reverend Mark I. Ward, CP, VF and
Gary D. Ward, his nephews Michael J. (Joanne) Bohn, David G. Bohn, and Matthew J. (Alanna) Bohn, two great-nephews, and a great-great nephew and
niece, and aunts and cousins. At the request of the deceased there will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial
which will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Dunkirk, NY. Donations can be made
to The Order of the Passionist Community, St. Paul of the Cross, 148 Monastery Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15203, or to the Veterans Administration. Arrangements by the
