A pair of local women recently nabbed their first bucks. Pictured on top, Lucy Warmbrodt displays the 8-point buck she took down with her .303 Savage Arms lever action rifle. At left, Precious Kaczor shows off her 9-point buck. It was her first buck taken down with a gun. Both deer were taken on opening day of firearms season.
