ELLINGTON - On Saturday, Michael Sheldon, 28, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment.
A trooper responded to a residence for a report of harassment. It was reported that Sheldon called the victim and threatened violence.
Sheldon was processed at state police headquarters in Jamestown and issued an appearance ticket.
Matthew Spunaugle, 19, of Jamestown was charged Monday with unlawful possession of marijuana.
A trooper pulled Spun-augle over for excessive window tint. While speaking to Spunaugle, the officer smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle.
The trooper reportedly found a marijuana cigarette and a bag containing three grams of the substance while searching the vehicle.
Spunaugle was issued an appearance ticket.
KIANTONE - On Tuesday, James Peterson, 29, of Jamestown was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
A trooper pulled Peterson on Route 60 for a traffic violation. The officer reportedly saw a small amount of loose marijuana in plain view inside Peterson's vehicle. The officer searched the vehicle and reported locating a bag and a pill jar containing a total of five grams of marijuana.
Peterson was issued an appearance ticket.
Teens face charges related to alcohol
On Saturday, Derek Gifford, 19, of Titusville, Pa., was charged driving while intoxicated.
A trooper from the James-town barracks, stopped on Route 60 to assist a motorist he observed pulled over on the side of the road. Gifford, the driver, reportedly failed several field sobriety tests. He was taken to Jamestown barracks where the breath sample he provided was reported to be .09 percent.
Several cases of beer were reportedly located inside the vehicle. The passengers in the car, Francis Suppa, Tylor Keyes, Skyler Wolfe, and Zachary Johnson, all teenagers from various towns in Pennsylvania were charged with possession of alcohol under 21.
The teens were all issued appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Ellicott Court. All suspects were released to a sober individual.
