Dunkirk students give thanks

‘What Thanksgiving Means To Me’ poster contest winners announced

The City of Dunkirk Youth Bureau and Recreation Commission announces the winners of the annual "What Thanksgiving Means To Me" poster contest for children in grades K through 5. Each winner received a free sub from Crosby Mart in Dunkirk. The grand prize winners received a free pizza, free sub, and free soft drink.

Kaylee Ziegler (2-3) from School No. 3, and Allen Briggs (K-1), Jordon Thompson (2-3) and Constantino Gonzales (4-5) from School No. 7 all tied for the Grand Prize.

From School No. 3, other winners were Brianna Casey for K-1 and Daleshia Butts for 4-5.

From School No. 5, winners were Hayden Cerrie for K-1, Tamia Johnson for 2-3, and Brianne Buchanan for 4-5.

Winners from NCCS were Joe Askar for K-1, Brandon Aitcheson for 2-3, and Amanda Lombardo for 4-5.

Winners from Central Christian Academy were Elizabeth Pucci-Schaefer for K-1, Sophia Botticello for 2-3, and Audrey Lokietek from 4-5.
