Norman C. Arnold, 88, of Mill Road, Mayville, formerly of Forestville, died Friday, November 23rd, at his residence, following a short illness. He was born in the
Town of Arkwright on February 16, 1924, the son of the late Clifford and Millie (Bartkowski) Arnold. Mr. Arnold served in the U.S. Army as a Corporal during WW II and worked as a Groundman for the former Niagara Mohawk, Fredonia, for 34 years, retiring in 1984. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and playing cards.
Survivors include his wife Dorothy J. (Golden) Arnold, of Mayville, whom he married on May 8, 1948, in the Forestville Baptist Church; five sons Larry

Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a brother Alfred Arnold and a sister Doris Arnold. call at the Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where funeral services will be held Wednesday
afternoon at 1 o'clock, with Christopher Arnold, grandson of the deceased, officiating. Interment will follow in Forestville Cemetery. The family suggests
