JCC, Edinboro sign agreement on nursing degree program

JAMESTOWN - Jamestown Com-munity College and Edinboro University of Pennsylvania have formalized a transfer articulation agreement regarding Edin-boro's nursing degree program.

JCC students who graduate with an Associate in Applied Science degree in nursing, are licensed as registered nurses, and who meet program prerequisites will be accepted into Edinboro's nursing bachelor's degree program with advanced standing.

JCC students who take specified courses as part of their associate's degree also have the opportunity to complete the bachelor's degree in four semesters at Edinboro. Edinboro will accept up to 90 JCC credits toward the fulfillment of Edinboro's nursing degree.

Located in northwestern Pennsylvania, Edinboro is a public, four-year university offering associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees.
