SUMMERFIELD, Fla. - Pauline M. Schauer, 81, of Summerfield, Fla., passed away Monday (Nov. 26, 2012) in Ocala, Fla.
She was born Oct. 30, 1931 in Gowanda, NY, the daughter of the late Wilford and Doris (Easterly) Bowers.
On Sept. 17, 1949, she married Norman Schauer, who survives.
Mrs. Schauer had worked at the Federal Credit Union at Gowanda Psychiatric Center. She was a member of the Village View Community Church in Summerfield, Fla.
Besides her husband of 63 years, she is survived by a son, Brian Schauer of Or-lando, Fla; two daughters, Patricia (John) Poreba of Boise, Idaho, and Deborah (Michael) Snodgrass of Twin Fall, Idaho; five grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Norris (Rosemary) Bowers of Oklahoma City, OK and David Bowers of Maine; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 105 East Main Street in Gowanda, NY on Friday, November 30, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 at 11 a.m. from the Funeral Home, with Rev. Kenneth Pratt officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
