Gowanda Police Department
Joseph B. Secord, 44, of Holland, was charged with disorderly conduct and unlawful possession of marijuana on Oct. 23. Patrol responded to a local business on Jamestown Street at 5:30 p.m. for the report of Secord, who appeared intoxicated, harassing employees. Patrol discovered Secord also had a small amount of marijuana. He was arraigned in the Town of Persia Court and remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $250 bail.
Jordan A. Brant-Lasalle, 31, of Union Street was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and expired inspection on Oct. 23. Police stopped Lasalle-Brant for a traffic violation on Buffalo Street at 11:34 p.m. Police found the vehicle's inspection was expired as well as Brant-Lasalle's licensed was suspended for failure to answer a summons. He was released on an appearance ticket for the Town of Collins Court.
Frank H. Hawkins Jr. 22, of Perry Street was taken into custody on an arrest warrant on Oct. 25. Patrol was notified of an active arrest warrant by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Department. Hawkins was arrested and turned over to the sheriff's department.
Lonnie L. Sotkovski, 38, of Walnut Street was charged with second-degree harassment and criminal mischief on Oct. 27. At 1:30 p.m. police were called to a domestic incident on Walnut Street. Patrol was notified that Sotkovski had been involved in a physical altercation with a female pushing and pulling her hair as well as overturning a table, causing damage. He was arraigned in the Town of Persia and released on his own recognizance.
Nathan E. Miskell, 18, of Aldrich Street was taken into custody on an arrest warrant on Oct. 31. Police responded to a domestic incident at 2:15 p.m. involving Miskell. Miskell had an active arrest warrant from the Cattaraugus County Family Court. He was then turned over to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Department.
Lawrence A. Nadeau Jr.,35, of Commercial Street was charged with petit larceny on Nov. 3. At 3:45 p.m. police responded to a business on West Main Street for the report of a male acting irrational and suspected of stealing. Upon arrival, police confronted Nadeau and discovered him in possession of $150 worth of stolen batteries. Nadeau was released on an appearance ticket for the Town of Persia Court and then transported to the hospital for a medical condition.
Pamela S. Jimerson, 27, Aldrich Street was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI and failure to keep right on Nov. 7. Police observed Jimerson operating a vehicle in an erratic manner on Allen Street at 11:50 a.m. Police noticed Jimerson displayed signs of intoxication and failed several sobriety checks. A chemical breath test resulted in a .20 BAC. She was released on an appearance ticket for the Town of Collins Court.
Alvin L. Irizarry, 26, of North Collins was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to keep right on Nov. 9. At 11:30 p.m. police observed a vehicle operated by Irizarry operating erratically, crossing the solid double yellow line. A DMV computer check revealed his licensed was revoked for a DWI charge. He was arraigned in the Town of Persia Court and transported to Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $250 bail.
Joseph Castro-Talbot, 20, of Buffalo was taken into custody on an arrest warrant on Nov. 14. Police had previously arrested Castro-Talbot. He was then arrested in the city of Buffalo, a violation of probation for Erie County and the Town of Persia Court. Upon his release from the Erie County Holding Center, he was transported to the Town of Persia Court for arraignment. He was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail.
Randall C. Gates, 47, of Route 438 was taken into custody on an arrest warrant on Nov. 16. Police responded to a domestic incident involving Gates on East Main Street at 8:25 p.m. A computer check revealed Gates had a warrant for the Town of Brant. He was arrested and turned over to the Brant Police Department.
Grantland T. Stevens, 31, of Buffalo Street was charged with following too close, driving while intoxicated and having a suspended registration on Nov. 25. At 2:30 a.m. police observed Stevens following too close to a patrol car on Buffalo Street. Stevens was stopped and exhibited signs of intoxication and failed several sobriety tests. Stevens' registration was suspended for failure to pay fines. His BAC was found to be .15. He was released on an appearance ticket for Town of Collins Court.
