Adult Basketball League
The organizational meeting for all teams interested in playing in the Adult Men's Basketball League sponsored by the Dunkirk Recreation is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 30 at 6 p.m. in the second floor Courtroom in City Hall.
League fees, rules, schedules and starting date will be decided at this meeting
All teams must be represented. League games will be played at the Dunkirk Middle School.

Adult Floor Hockey meeting
The adult Men's Floor Hockey League sponsored by the City of Dunkirk's Recreation Department has scheduled its organizational meeting for Thursday, Dec. 6 at 6 p.m. in the second floor conference room at City Hall.
League rules, schedules, playoffs and starting date will be decided at this meeting. Games will be played at the Recreation Center in the Chautauqua County Fairgrounds.

2013 Concord Babe Ruth
Founded in 1955, Concord Babe Ruth Baseball was created for ballplayers ages 13-15 who wished to continue their baseball playing experience beyond the age of 12. In this division, teams will compete in local house league play and players are eligible to compete on one of 2 showcase teams.
New for 2013, Concord Babe Ruth will feature a 13-14U and 15-U showcase team that will compete at various tournaments in the Western New York area. Players from Dunkirk and Fredonia are eligible to play Concord Babe Ruth.
Many local Babe Ruth alumni are now competing at the NCAA level at SUNY Fredonia, SUNY Brockport, Tusculum College, St. Bonaventure, Mercyhurst, JCC, MCC, ECC, Rochester and Chowan University.
At this point, coaching applications are being accepted for the 13-14U teams as well as the 15-U team.

FSU Baseball clinics
The Fredonia State baseball team will be hosting a pair of high school clinics Wednesday, Dec. 9. In addition to the Blue Devil staff, coaches from various area colleges will help with instruction.

Black Watch tryouts
The Black Watch soccer tryout for all boys ages 8-17 is Sunday, Dec. 2 from 1-2:30 p.m. on the Fredonia State turf field.

Mercyhurst NE T-shirt fundraiser
Mercyhurst North East Saints baseball team, members of the Western New York Athletic Conference, National Junior College Athletic Association and Region III Athletics is having their 2012-13 T-shirt fundraiser.
Mercyhurst North East baseball shirts are $12 and payment are not due until the shirts come in.
All proceeds go directly to the Mercyhurst NE baseball team.
