OBSERVER Staff Report
According to Fredonia Mayor Steven Keefe Sunday afternoon, the Chautauqua County Health Department is advising the public to continue to boil water in the village.
Keefe said the water does look clearer and the most recent test did look good, but he wants "no false optimism." "I wouldn't want anyone to drink the water and then get sick," he said.
The health department will test the water Monday morning.
"I'm hopeful that we will be in operation (after that)." he said. "and that we can flush the lines."
