Clymer resident charged with DWI after accident
CLYMER - On Saturday evening, Laura M. Graves of 813 Bakerink Road in Clymer was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI Leandra's law, third-degree unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and failure to keep right after a motor vehicle crash.
Reportedly, Graves crossed the center line of the roadway on Route 474 near Bakerink Road and struck a vehicle head on.
Graves was taken into custody by a Chautauqua County deputy and processed for DWI. Because she had two children age 15 or under in her vehicle, she was charged with aggravated DWI under Leandra's law.
Graves was issued tickets and released to a sober family member. The operator of the other vehicle was taken to Corry Hospital by ambulance and released after treatment.
Graves will answer the charges in the Town of Clymer Court at a later date.

Evan James Murphy, 21, of East Aurora was charged with littering on Dec. 1. Police observed Murphy carrying a backpack through the east municipal parking lot at 1:21 a.m. He then threw the backpack behind a car. Murphy was released on an appearance ticket.
Barry Nicholas Hunt, 20, of East Main Street was charged with unlawful possession of alcohol and having an open container on Dec. 1. At 1:20 a.m. police observed Hunt walking through the east municipal parking lot carrying an open container. He was released on an appearance ticket.

VERSAILLES - On Nov. 19, troopers charged a 15-year-old male from Burning Springs Road with third-degree identity theft.
The charge capped a two-week investigation that began when a Perrysburg man reported a lost credit card. Working with the credit card company and an online retailer, troopers traced the purchase of a baseball cap back to the youth.
He and his guardian are due to report to Cattaraugus County Family Court.
GOWANDA - On Nov. 21, troopers apprehended Alfredo Brown, 31, of Old Lake Shore Road in Irving on an active bench warrant out of the Town of Hamburg Court for resisting arrest.
Brown's car was stopped on Buffalo Street Extension and a computer check revealed he was wanted.
Troopers took him to Hamburg where he was turned over to the Hamburg Police Department for arraignment.
NORTH COLLINS - On Nov. 22, troopers detained Shane Neu, 27, of Stearns Road in Lawtons on an active bench warrant out of the Town of West Seneca Court for third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.
The warrant came to light while troopers were investigating a missing vehicle.
Neu was apprehended at a home on Thiel Road, taken to West Seneca, and turned over to the West Seneca Police Department for arraignment.
COLLINS - On Nov. 22, troopers charged Robert Odell, 27, of Sunset Drive in Eden for second-degree aggravated harassment. Reportedly, Odell was often texting and calling a family member after the troopers told him to stop.
He was processed, arraigned in North Collins Court and sent to the Erie County holding center on $500 bail.
Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office
DAYTON - Dwight H. Johnston Jr., 44, of Coon Road was taken into custody at his residence for a bench warrant issued from Cattaraugus County Court. He was taken to the Cattaraugus County Jail and held with no bail. He is due back in court at a later date.
