SOUTH DAYTON - Norma Lee Brash, 84, a retired intelligence officer for CIA, where she worked for 26 years, went home to be with her Lord Saturday, Dec. 01, 2012. She had been in the Gowanda Rehab and Nursing Home for several years and was formerly from Route 83 South Dayton, N.Y.
She was born Oct. 04, 1928 in Holiday Cove, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Frank D. and Viola (Hurd) McPeek.
Norma graduated from South Park High School in Buffalo, class of 1946, then attended Northern Virginia College. She attended many advancement courses throughout her career with the CIA, and became fluent in nine languages. Norma was a past member of the Eastern Stars, Beta Sigma Phi in Va., and the So. Dayton United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two sons: Westley G. (Burnadette) Tessey of South Dayton, N.Y, and Edward J. (Dannette) Tessey of Audubon, N.J.; a brother; Ernest D. McPeek of South Dayton, N.Y.; a sister; Jacquine J. Straub of Dunedin, Fla.; two grandchildren: Jennifer Tessey of Medford, N.J., and Westley F. Tessey of South Dayton, N.Y.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Brash whom she married on June 6, 1981 and who died on Aug. 7, 2010, and her brother Frank McPeek, Jr.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Hills Funeral Chapel, 478 Balcom Corners, Rt. 83, South Dayton, N.Y. Pastor Joseph Pascoe of Little Valley United Methodist Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the Villenova Cemetery in South Dayton.
Visitation will be held at the funeral chapel on Tues-day from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
