In the boys match, Fredonia cracked a 872-772-803-2,447 while Southwestern shot a 762-822-733-2,317
Ricky Burgstrom led Fredonia with a 213-171-541 while Collin Schanzlin rolled a 211 and teammate Jeff Rowe shot a 209 in the win.
For the girls, Fredonia's linescore read 607-750-725-2,082 while Southwestern charted a 704-558-577-1,839.
Elizabeth Valvo led Fredonia with a 168 while Marionna Wiltsie and Morgan Dispense each had a 166 game.
Panthers take care of Marauders
GOWANDA - The Gowanda boys bowling team swept the Dunkirk Marauders on Monday in Division 1 high school bowling action.
Gowanda's (4-0) linescores read 895-915-918-2,728 compared to Dunkirk's 871-717-779-2,367 at K&L Lanes.
The Panthers' high bowler was Justin Grimm with a 183-246-181-610. Trent Martin added a 214 game and Jordan Schindler had a 245 game.
The Marauders (0-4) were led by Peter Kubera's 243 game and Brody Monzelb's 182 game.
In the girls' match, Gowanda (3-1) combined for a 761-656-675-2,092 while Dunkirk (1-3) shot a 647-619-770-2,036.
Brittnee Stelley led Gowanda with a 216-126-192-534 and Malyssa Farley charted a 165-148-183-496. Brianna Thompson cracked a 153 game for the winners.
The Lady Marauders were led by Hannah Schur's 147-150-210-498 and Caitlyn Chase's 154 game.
Division 2
Hornets, Bulldogs bowl to tie
The Forestville Hornets (6-2) and the Brocton Bulldogs (6-2) bowled to a 2-2 deadock Monday at Lucky Lanes.
Forestville shot a 813-931-900-2,644 while Brocton rolled a 825-942-784-2,551 .
John Murphy led the Hornets with a 205-222-604 while seventh grader Phillip Narraway charted a 535 series.
For Brocton, John Nickerson rolled a 560 and Steven Krystofiak finished with a 211-525.
Cards bowl over Thunderbirds
CUTTING?- The Randolph Lady Cardinals (6-2) pulled out a tight 3-1 win over Chautauqua Lake (1-7) in girls high school bowling.
Randolph rolled a 600-550-586-1,736 while Chautauqua Lake charted a 496-583-525-1,604 at Cutting Lanes.
Heather Sullivan was the star for Chautauqua Lake with a 195-201-528 while Jessica Parment bowled a 149 and Jade Donnell had a 139.
For the boys, the Cardinals (7-5) swept the Thunderbirds (0-8), 4-0.
The winners rolled a 750-834-708-2,292 while Chautauqua Lake finished with a 487-557-474-1,536.
Jeremy Evans was Chautauqua Lake's lone bright spot with a 157 game.
