BUFFALO - The Fredonia-Westfield boys and girls indoor track teams ran at Buffalo State Friday night, with Matt Civilette and Miranda Warner taking home first-place finishes.
Civilette took first in the triple jump with a leap of 41-feet, 11-3/4 inches, a quarter of an inch off his personal best while also taking first in the long jump with a personal best distance of 19-11. Warner was first in the high jump with a height of 4-10 while also taking fifth in the 55-meter hurdles in a time of 10.4 seconds.
Elsewhere, Cody Smith was fourth in the high jump with a personal-best height of 4-10 while Erica Vicary was second in the 3,000 (12:05).
Devin Kowalewski was fourth in the girls 55 hurdles (:10.3) and fourth in the triple jump (28-11) while Emily Wan was fourth in the long jump (13-4 1/2). Also for the Lady Hillbillies, the 4x800 relay team of Gwen Stokes, Jillian Kowalski, Vicary and Skylar Salim, took fourth in a time of 12:05.
