WEBSTER - Fredonia had five wrestlers go undefeated Friday at the Matthew Marino Invitational, being held at Webster-Schroeder High School.
Chris Saden, wrestling at 220 pounds, went 5-0 with five first-period pins while Jude Gardner (145) went 5-0 with three pins. Also going undefeated were Sean Sluberski (145, 3-0, three pins), Dakota Gardner (126, 3-0), and Zach Buckley (170, 3-0, two pins).
Meanwhile, Pat McCarthy (113) went 3-1 with three pins, Tyler Cassidy (132) went 2-1 with two pins, as did Julius Woma, who wrestled at 138.
The Hillbillies will back on the mats at 9 a.m. today.
