SILVER CREEK - The Silver Creek Black Knights bowling teams rolled their ways to convincing sweeps of Clymer on Friday in Division 2 action.
Tim Manning led the Black Knights (15-1) with a 538 as the boys downed Clymer (4-16).
Silver Creek's linescore read 810-821-767-2,398 while the Pirates rolled a 662-660-665-1,987.
Elliott Martin contributed in the win with a 527 while Robert Paterson bowled a 225 game.
For the girls, Silver Creek's linescore read 580-598-579-1,757 compared to Clymer's (2-14) 428-456-394-1,278.
Lizzy Golubski led the Black Knights (14-2) with a 535 and Tessa Gibbon charted a 466.
Hornets sweep T'birds
The Forestville boys and girls bowling teams earned sweeps of Chautauqua Lake Friday, during CCAA Division 2 action at Lucky Lanes.
The boys team won by a linescore of 903-823-835-2,561 to 606-466-450-1,522, while the girls won with a linescore of 609-573-631-1,813 to 459-481-475-1,415.
In the boys match, John Murphy rolled a 223-605 in the win while Brad Dillenburg chipped in 550. Dakota Barrows charted a 175 for Chautauqua Lake.
In the girls match, the Lady Hornets were led by Emily Dillenburg's 199-554 and Sam Nosbisch's 470. Also for Forestville, Shawntai LeBarron had a 170.
Heather Sullivan led the Lady Thunderbirds with a 184-499.
Bulldogs move to
10-2 with sweep
Brocton's bowling team got past Frewsburg, 4-0, during CCAA Division 2 boys bowling action Friday at Lucky Lanes, behind a linescore of 826-878-730-2,474. Frewsburg finished at 674-790-687-2,151.
Leading the way for the Bulldogs (10-2) were Patrick Bigelow 192-186-536 and Steve Krystofiak 187-508. Kory Crandall charted a 205 in the win while Taylor Delcamp chipped in a 191.
For the Bears (9.5-10.5), Christian Sardi rolled a 211-510 and Justin Randall a 175-170-500.
