The Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation announces the release of the 2012 Catalog of Giving for this holiday season. The catalog provides an opportunity for the community to contribute to a charitable fund in friends' and loved ones' names capturing and sharing all that is good about this season.
Individuals and families in the past have chosen this alternative with success. One local family created a new fund in their father and grandfather's honor. The patriarch was touched to have a permanent fund established in his name to benefit the community he truly loves. Another family pools the money that they would normally spend on gifts to each other and dedicates it to a fund each year.
"A donation for the betterment of the community through the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation means so much more because the gift helps so many in our area," said NCCF Executive Director Diane Hannum.
Gifts can be made in any amount and the recipient(s) are mailed an attractive, tasteful, and appropriate holiday card announcing the gift. The amount will not be mentioned, unless you desire. Funds at the NCCF benefit a wide range of causes including music, the fine arts, medical research, local churches, scholarships, and a number of charitable organizations serving northern Chautauqua County.

It is an organization inherently committed to enriching the northern Chautauqua community and encouraging local philanthropy.
