Linda Marie (Janisch) Hays, 59, of Clarence NY passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012, surrounded by her family at Buffalo General Hospital in Buffalo NY.
She was born November 18, 1953 in Silver Creek NY, the oldest daughter of Betty Ann (Scott) Janisch of Fredonia NY and the late Richard M. Janisch, who passed away in 1989.
Linda grew up in Sheridan and graduated from Forestville Central School in 1971 and Jamestown Community College in 1973. She was employed as a payroll clerk at Unicell in Buffalo, NY. She enjoyed traveling with her family and was active in her church. She was always smiling, cheerful and kind, and she will be greatly missed.
Surviving are her husband of 38 years, Randy Hays; her daughter Valerie Ann (Angel) Carrero, her grandchildren Isabel and Juaquin; stepgrandchildren, Carmen and Edwin (Lisa), and step great grandchildren; her brothers Michael (Amanda) Janisch, David (Laura) Janisch, Daniel (Teresa) Janisch, and sisters Susan (Charles) Gatto and Patricia (John) Rickert. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Clarence United Methodist Church. Donations in Linda's memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
