Chautauqua Striders Runner of the Year Series

The 2012 Chautauqua Striders Runner of the Year Series recently concluded. The series was sponsored by WCA Center for Orthopedics, Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation. Below are the award winners:

DHS Sports Booster Meeting

There will be a Dunkirk High School Sports Booster meeting Tuesday, at 5:30 p.m. in Mr. Pietro's room at the high school. Interested parents and coaches are encouraged to attend.

NCSA?Meeting

The Northern Chautauqua Soccer Association will hold its annual meeting Monday, Dec. 10 at 6 p.m. at St. Paul Luthern Church in Fredonia.

DHS Baseball to Host Comedy Night

The Dunkirk High School baseball team will be holding a Comedy Night on Saturday, Jan. 19 at the Dunkirk?Moose Lodge. Doors will open at 5 p.m., with the show starting at 7.

Featured comedians will include Nick Siracuse, Ralph Tetta and Ray Silva. Tickets for the event, which will include a Chinese Auction, will be available at Matt's News, DHS, from any parent of a player, or from head coach Frank Jagoda.
