GOWANDA - A miserable second half doomed Gowanda in a non-league 55-31 loss to Randolph on Monday.
Down 25-20 at halftime, the Lady Panthers mustered just 11 points in the second half as Randolph pulled away for an easy win.
McKenna Maycock was a virtual wrecking crew for the Lady Cardinals. She poured in 27 points to go with 10 rebounds, six assists and four steals. She was the only Randolph player in double-digit scoring.
Lexi Farner and C.J. Sawatis were Gowanda's top offensive weapons with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Markie John and Breann John combined for 11 rebounds in the loss.
Gowanda will open its CCAA Division 1 schedule Wednesday, at Dunkirk.
