Christmas Barn Mass set for Dec. 22

FORESTVILLE - The annual Christmas Barn Mass will be held once again in the barn of John and Aimee Rogers' family farm in Forestville for the 19th year. Fr. Dan Fiebelkorn is the main celebrant, from the Roman Catholic Faith Community of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, which is comprised of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Silver Creek and St. Rose of Lima, Forestville.

Everyone is invited to attend this celebration on Dec. 22 at 7 p.m., as it will be a reminder to all of the reason for this season.

In addition to the Mass there will be singing, a Christmas pageant, live animals will adorn the manger setting and cocoa and cookies will be served after the Mass. Dress warm. The second collection will be for pro-life activities in Northern Chautauqua area.

In order to alleviate the difficulty of street parking and for the safety of all attendees a bus pickup will be provided from the Forestville High School parking lot at 6 and at 6:30 p.m. For more information, or to make special arrangements, call John or Aimee Rogers at 965-4321.
