Wednesday marks the second and last recital in the 2012 Marsh Memorial advent series at the Dunkirk Presbyterian Church, 19 W. Fourth St. The Marsh recitals are free public concerts held during the lunch hour. Attendees are encouraged to bring a bag lunch and enjoy the church's complimentary coffee along with the live music.
This Wednesday's recital at noon features pianist Ann Park-Rose. The winner of numerous competitions and awards, including the WLU concerto competition, her music has been performed and recorded by several artists in Canada, most recently by her former teacher and also her husband, violist David Rose.
This free musical program is designed to provide members of the community and the general public with an opportunity for a period of peaceful reflection and contemplation at mid-week throughout the Advent season.
