Fredonia resident charged with DWI
On Thursday, state police in Fredonia charged Corey Short, 22, of Eagle Street in Fredonia with driving while intoxicated.
Troopers stopped Short on Route 20 in Pomfret because he was reportedly operating his vehicle with tinted side windows and blue lighted plate lamps. Short allegedly failed several field sobriety tests.
He was processed at the Fredonia barracks. He submitted to a breath test that was reported at .14 percent blood alcohol content. Short is to answer the charges in the Town of Pomfret Court on Jan. 8.
Fredonia Police
Daniel P. Giambra, 29, of Summer Street and Matthew Grimes, 21, of Day Street were charged with disorderly conduct on Dec. 5. Both were observed by police involved in a fight on Water Street at 1:35 a.m. Both were released on appearance tickets.
Robert K. Shumaker, 32, of Silver Creek was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment on Dec. 5. He turned himself in to police on an arrest warrant from an incident that happened on Nov. 18. He was held pending arraignment.
Rachael S. Langford, 27, of Wisteria Drive was charged with second-degree harassment on Dec. 5. Langford allegedly punched and scratched two victims while on West Main Street in an incident that happened on Dec. 2. Langford was held for arraignment.
Paul A. Swenson, 20, of Brigham Road was charged with having an open container, unlawful possession of alcohol and second-degree obstruction of a governmental administrator on Dec. 7. Swenson was seen with an open container at 12:49 a.m. on Central Avenue when he placed it on the ground. Swenson walked away denying the container was his. He was held on $250 bail.
Gary L. Golden, 18, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny on Dec. 7. Police received a call from Walmart regarding an associate stealing money from the register. It is alleged Golden stole $244 on 20 occasions. He was held pending arraignment.
Cameron Carsaro, 21, of Forest Place was charged with violating the sewer ordinance on Dec. 8. At 1:24 a.m. Carsaro was observed urinating in the west municipal parking lot. He was released on an appearance ticket.
Krystina D. Slater, 19, of Water Street was charged with disorderly conduct on Dec. 8. Police observed Slater punch a male on Water Street at 1:12 a.m. She was released on appearance tickets.
Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office
Bryan Ramos, age 19, of Dunkirk, was taken into custody on a warrant for violation of probation. Ramos was arrested in Erie County and transferred over to Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office and is currently in Chautauqua County Jail pending arraignment.
Jose A. Figueroa, age 32, of Jamestown, was taken into custody on a warrant for violation of probation. Figueroa was arrested on unrelated charges by Jamestown Police and remanded Chautauqua County Jail for arraingment.
