Brocton man faces drug charges
BROCTON - On Thursday, Scott Stein, 27, of Brocton was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Troopers from Fredonia pulled him over on Main Street for reportedly having no plate lamps. They report he was in possession of 44 grams of marijuana and a smoking pipe with marijuana residue.
Troopers issued him appearance tickets for the Village of Brocton Court on Jan. 2.
Fredonia woman charged with DWI
On Saturday at about 3 a.m., Megan Stroud, 21, of Fredonia was charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to stop at a red light and uninspected motor vehicle.
Deputies from the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office reportedly observed Stroud fail to stop at a red light at the intersection of Vineyard Drive and Route 60. They stopped her and further investigation led to the charge of driving while intoxicated.
She was issued tickets and is to appear in the Town of Dunkirk Court at a later date.

at Jamestown
ASHVILLE - On Wednesday James Hall, 22, of Ashville was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
On Dec. 4, a complainant reported the Hall was in possession of an unknown drug. Troopers reported that a powdery substance, later identified as Vicodin, was located on Hall's desk in his bedroom. Vicodin is a controlled substance for which Hall did not have a prescription.
Hall was processed at state police headquarters in Jamestown and issued an appearance ticket for the Town of Harmony Court.
On Tuesday, Christ-opher Reinbold, 33, of Whitesville was charged with issuing a bad check.
On Dec. 4, state police received a case in which a complainant reported she sent an employee to perform services on the suspect's farm and received a bad check as payment.
Reinbold was processed at state police headquarters in Jamestown. He was released with an appearance ticket directing him to appear in the Town of Conewango Court at a later date.
On Monday, Gregory Danielson, 48, of Jamestown was charged with felony driving while intoxicated.
Danielson was pulled over on Washington Street for speeding. Reportedly he failed several field sobriety tests.
He was transported to the state police barracks in Jamestown where he provided a breath sample reported at .12 percent.
A check of his driver's record revealed a DWI conviction within the preceding 10 years so the charge was upgraded to a felony.
Danielson was processed, issued tickets returnable to the City of Jamestown Court and released to a sober individual.
Dunkirk Police Department
Raymond Santiago-Rodriguez, 39, of West Second Street was charged with second-degree menacing, second-degree harassment and petit larceny on Dec. 7 from previous charges.
Wayne L. Finley Jr., of East Second Street was charged with second-degree harassment, criminal obstruction of breathing and obstruction of governmental administration on Dec. 7.
Andrew Diaz, 37, of West Fourth Street was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated on Dec. 8.
Stephen R. Partyka, 29, of East Lake Road was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, unlicensed operation and having driver's view obstructed on Dec. 9.
Cody W. Eastman, 21, of Lord Street was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and unlawful possession of marijuana on Dec. 9.
Epifania Bautista-Santiago, 30, of Lincoln Avenue was charged with unlicensed operation and failure to stop at a red light on Dec. 10.
Ramon J. Feliciano was charged with second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child on Dec. 10.
Santos Eliseo, 35, of Columbus Avenue was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on Dec. 11.
Jacfet Roldan, 26, of King Street was charged with violating the noise ordinance on a previous charge, having driver's view obstructed and unlicensed operation on Dec. 11.
David N. Barnes, 41, of East Sixth Street was charged with failure to stop at a stop sign, having no inspection and having a suspended registration on Dec. 11.
Ramon J. Feliciano, 18, of Dunkirk was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance on Dec. 12 on a warrant.
Jeremy Soto of Franklin Avenue was charged with second-degree harassment on Dec. 12.
Joseph P. Aversa, 32, of Greenville, Pa., was charged with improper right turn and unlicensed operation on Dec. 12.
