Police seek information on suspicious vehicle, person

The Dunkirk Police Department is seeking the public's assistance on a suspicious vehicle and subject that stopped in front of a residence Monday around 5 p.m.

Police say during the stop, the driver rolled down a window while a child was outside with family on Central Avenue. The vehicle is described as a gray Chevy Lumina with a passenger side headlight and taillights not working. The only description of the driver was possibly a male subject. The incident was reported to police late Monday evening and officers have not been able to locate the subject or vehicle.

Anyone with information is urged to call police immediately at 366-2266 or 911.
