A two-car accident in the city early Thursday injured three individuals. According to Dunkirk Police Department, a vehicle operated by Tracey A. Kubera, 46, of South Serval Street was traveling south on Serval Street crossing Lake Shore Drive at 7:45 a.m. Another vehicle operated by Stephen P. Laskey, 30, of Lake Shore Drive East was traveling east on Lake Shore Drive approaching the intersection. The two vehicles collided and according to police, both drivers stated they had the right of way. Both drivers and a passenger in Laskey's vehicle, Pamela S. Laskey, 31, were taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital. Dunkirk Fire Department transported one victim with the Fredonia Fire Department transporting two victims. Dunkirk Fire Chief Keith Ahlstrom said none of the injuries were life threatening. There was a minor spill the DFD cleaned with one bag of speedi dri. No charges were filed. One of the vehicles is shown as it is being towed.
