SILVER CREEK - Silver Creek High School announces the October Knights of the Month.
The first knight is Stepheney Lysek. Stepheney is the ninth-grade daughter of Elizabeth Lysek of Silver Creek. Her hobbies include drawing and painting. Stepheney plans to obtain her Advanced Regents Diploma and attend college after graduation. She is currently enrolled in the accelerated math program at Silver Creek and her favorite classes are her art courses. Stepheney was nominated by Ed Gallivan, her earth science teacher.
The second knight of the month is Cassandra Nahrebeski. She is the 11th-grade daughter of Bonnie Pokojski and Charles Nahrebeski of Silver Creek. Her hobbies include going to country music concerts and spending time with friends. Her extracurricular activities include; key club, student council and volunteering in the community with her friends. After graduating with an Advanced Regents Diploma, she plans to attend college for pre-veterinarian studies. Casey was nominated by her US History teacher, Thomas Buczkowski.

The Knight of the Month is a student who is nominated by a member of the Silver Creek School faculty based on many qualities; such as dedication to their studies, extracurricular involvement, leadership, and behavioral and academic performance.
