Infinity Dance Academy recently performed at several retirement homes to entertain the residents. Some of the places the students visited were the Chautauqua County Home, Heritage Village and St. Columban's on the Lake.
Students from several dance classes and dance teams performed routines to classic and new Christmas songs. The level one ballet class danced to the "Polar Express" song, "When Christmas Comes to Town," dressed in red leotards and white tutus adorned with bells. Another favorite was performed by the Level 2 Jazz class, "I Want a Hippopotamus For Christmas" dressed in red with white fur costumes. A rendition of "Welcome Christmas" from the movie "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" was performed by the Level 3 Ballet dressed in Red leotards with White Tutus embellished with red bows. Infinity's All-Star dance teams rocked the way to Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas Is You" and "Let It Snow" by Jessica Simpson. The team members wore red leotards and skirts trimmed with white fur and black boots. To top of the show, the Elementary Hip Hop class adorned in soldier costumes danced to Justin Bieber's "Drummer Boy" which was a hit with the residents.
The students enjoy entertaining with their dance moves and to be able to bring the Christmas spirit to the retirement homes. Infinity dancers hope that they can continue to make this an annual tradition.
