JAMESTOWN - The Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency has wrapped up the year with the reappointment of Bill Daly, as well as the appointment of officers to the board of directors.
Daly, who is the administrative director and CEO of the CCIDA, accepted his reappointment during the board meeting.
"Thank you for your excellent service," said Michael Metzger, board chairman. "We look forward to working with you for another year.

The board also appointed officers to the board. Michael Metzger was reappointed chairman; Dennis Rak, vice chairman; Greg DeCinque, treasurer; Kim Peterson, secretary; Susan Casel, deputy treasurer; and Carol Rasmussen, assistant secretary.
Additionally, the board approved a resolution to approve appointments and administrative matters of the agency.
"We're ratifying the reasons for the IDA," Daly said. "Really, the power that the IDA holds can in fact lead to reaching so many areas of economic life and vitality within the state of New York."
Finally, the board approved a motion to change the goals of the CCIDA. The board chose to eliminate from the agency's mission wording stating that the CCIDA would develop internship programs.
"We support all the organizations involved in internship programs," Daly said. "We will bring in internships, pay internships if we have to, and support every training or career path organization in the county and local industry or business relating to internships. It's just not what we do as a core mission."
Following the IDA meeting, the board also met as the Chautauqua County Capital Resource Corporation to appoint officers to its board for a one-year term. And, it reappointed officers to the Chautauqua Region Industrial Development Corporation board as well.
All discussions on the appointments were held in executive session during the CCIDA meeting. Additionally, representatives from Chautauqua Utilities made a presentation to the board during executive session, as the presentation dealt with a loan. No action was taken.
