Editor, OBSERVER:
"Christmas is for Children"
You will see the sparkle
when you look into their eyes.
They very much resemble
the stars in the skies.
What do you want for Christmas?
is the question that we ask.
Children have so many wishes
they say, "Oh, can't you guess?"
Today they want a computer,
with lots and lots of Nintendo games.
Board games were in when I was young,
also big on the list were dolls and trains.
It's time we looked at all our many gifts.
Freedom from fighting in our streets.
To saying how thankful that we are
allowed to greet people we meet.
God has given us so many gifts,
so much love we are able to share.
Try giving hugs this year - we have so many,
and it doesn't cost a penny.
Christ was born this very day,
we celebrate his birth this way.
He gave us his gift of love,
may we follow this - his Special Dove.
