T'was the week before Christmas and "Santa Shop" was getting prepared to help with Santa's lists. Officer Jen Alessi received calls from "Secret Santa and Mrs. Claus," Mr. and Mrs. Paul Locke, who made a generous donation; St. Joe's School; whose children collected gifts, The Academy Place Senior Citizens who also collected gifts, as well as two students in the Gowanda Central School who chose to buy bikes and donate them to the program. Officer Alessi also received a call from Kevin and Lisa from AMVETS who not only made donations, but became "Santa Shop" elves.
Previous donations were made by the Church of SS. Peter and Paul, VFW Post 5007, American Legion Post 409, Community Bank of Gowanda, WNY DDSO North Road Dayhab, Dr. Parlato, Betty Narrow, Chris and Tammy Ruzyki, Collins Center Fire Department, Janet Vogtli, James Keller, John Tagliaferro, Estate of Mrs. Brown, Jennifer Ribblett, Natalie Pachucinski, Superintendent Charles Rinaldi and all of the staff at the Gowanda Central School, Mr. and Mrs. David Smith, the Gowanda Police Department, Ann Giglio and the students from St. Joe's School, Pastor Donna Lewis, TLC Health Care Employees, Perrysburg-Dayton United Methodist Church, Janet Arnold and everyone who wishes to remain anonymous. Thanks for helping to put the "magic" in Christmas for children in the Gowanda School District.
