FREWSBURG - Jacob Lockett scored 20 points, but it wasn't enough to lead Dunkirk to victory as the Marauders fell to Maple Grove, 53-50, Thursday in the opening round of the Frewsburg Holiday Tournament.

Marquel Ruiz added another 16 points for Dunkirk, but Maple Grove built a big first half lead that the Marauders couldn't bounce back from.
"We had to come back after the half," Dunkirk coach Jerome Moss said. "We actually tied the game in the fourth quarter but couldn't pull it out."
Graham Soffel led a balanced Maple Grove attack with 13 points.
Dunkirk will take on host Frewsburg today in the consolation game.
