All post offices in northern Chautauqua County area will be open until noon on New Year's Eve, Monday, Dec. 31, except Fredonia, which will be open until 5 p.m.
Regular mail delivery for Dec. 31 will be unaffected by the change. Mail deposited in collection boxes will be retrieved by the last established collection time or by noon, whichever is earlier.
All post offices will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 1 and only Express Mail will be delivered. Regular mail delivery and post office hours will resume Wednesday, Jan. 2.
Revised hours will be posted at each post office location. Customers may call 1-800-ASK-USPS for information about specific locations.
Customers can access many postal services and products at usps.com. Self-service kiosks, which operate 24 hours a day, are located at post offices in the Buffalo area and may be found online.
