The third annual Children's Christmas party was held Dec. 16 at the Samuel Cimino VFW post in Silver Creek. The children up to age 9 created several ornaments and did various crafts. Stories were read to the children by Mrs. Claus, followed by a visit from Santa. Each child received a stocking filled with gifts. A special thank you to Denise, Cindy, Linda and Christine and also to all those who purchased the bake sale items, baked and donated to make this party a success.
