Dunkirk Police look for suspect in shooting incident

The Dunkirk Police Department is looking for a suspect in a shooting incident that occurred on Sunday night.

Police responded shortly after 10 p.m. to 37 B E. Second St. for the report of several shots fired. Upon arrival, police confirmed from two different victims that James B. Duman, 20, of Dunkirk shot at them with a handgun while they were standing in the doorway of the residence. No one was injured in the incident.

Duman is expected to be charged with two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment. He has not been taken into custody and should be considered armed and dangerous.
