OBSERVER Staff Report

OLEAN - The trip from Olean back to Dunkirk is long enough, but it was made even longer for the Marauders Monday night because they were coming off an 83-30 loss to the Huskies.

Olean jumped all over Dunkirk (2-3, 2-8) early in the CCAA Division 1 basketball contest and didn't let up.

"They've had the same team for two years now," Dunkirk coach Jerome Moss said of Olean. "They've come up together and know how each other play. They do a good job."

Michael Bess led Dunkirk with 10 points.

The Marauders will try to shake off the big loss when they host Allegany-Limestone next Tuesday.
