CLYMER - Carl Cotroneo recorded a personal-best high game of 259 and a 625 series to help the Silver Creek Black Knights sweep the Clymer Pirates, 4-0, Thursday in CCAA Division 2 boys high school bowling.
Silver Creek's linescore read 874-808-891-2,590 while Clymer bowled a 654-673-749-2,076 at Cutting Lanes.
The Black Knights (31-9) received a 511 series from Tyler Steklasa in the win.
Clymer was led by Austin Cramer's 215-500.
In the girls' match, Silver Creek swept the Lady Pirates, 4-0.
Silver Creek (31-5) combined for a 602-681-705-1,988 compared to Clymer's 500-545-451-1,496.
Top bowlers for Silver Creek were Lizzy Golubski with a 236-552 and Tessa Gibbon with a 197-537. Freshman Katie Dittiger added a 476 in the win.
