FREWSBURG - Jacob Brown and Reed Porterfield each won a pair of individual events, but Frewsburg's depth was enough to sink Fredonia, 115-68, in Thursday's CCAA Division 1 swimming and diving meet.
Brown took first in the 50 meter freestyle in :27.26 while also winning the 100 freestyle with a time of 1:00.24.

Porterfield won the 100 breaststroke (1:18.89) and 200 meter IM (2:20.05). Trystan Meyer added another Fredonia victory in the 100 butterfly (1:11.67).
Unfortunately for the Hillbillies, a strong Frewsburg squad was able to win every other event, including the three relays, to turn the tide of the meet.
Shaun McDonald was a double winner for the Bears with wins in the 100 backstroke (1:15.76) and 500 freestyle (5:10.79). McDonald was also on two of Frewsburg's winning relays.
