The fifth annual Novena for Life, sponsored by the Pro Life Committee of Chautauqua County, will be held this year from Jan. 14 to Jan. 22. The Novena's dates coordinate with the March for Life held annually in Washington, D.C., and the Pro Life Committee joins with them to promote life from its earliest moment. The dates, times, and locations are as follows: Jan. 14, 7 p.m., St. Dominic Church, Westfield, with Father Walter; Jan. 15, 7 p.m., Blessed Mary Angela (St. Hedwig Church), Dunkirk, with Father Nycz; Jan. 16, 7 p.m., Holy Trinity Church, Dunkirk, with Father Zalacca; Jan. 18, 7 p.m., St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Dunkirk, with Father Riter; Jan. 19, after the 5:30 p.m. mass, St. Dominic Church, Westfield; Jan. 20, 7 p.m., St. Dominic Church, Brocton, with Father Walter; Jan. 21, 7 p.m., St. Dominic Church, Brocton, with Father Walter and Jan. 22, 7 p.m., location to be announced.
Last Christmas, as in Christmases past, many imitate Christ's giving of life in giving presents to loved ones. All are welcome to come to this Novena and pray with others for the end of abortion and for the giving of life.
