RIPLEY - The Sherman Wildcats held the Ripley Eagles without an offensive rebound and forced 32 turnovers in a 61-24 victory in CCAA Division 4 boys basketball Thursday night.
Despite 20 first-half turnovers, the Eagles were just down 26-15 at halftime. Ripley coach Adam Chambers noted the second half - a 35-9 Sherman rout - was a story of long-range shots by Sherman.
Andrew Graham led Sherman with 13 points, including two 3-pointers. Ryan Robson added 12 points to support the victorious effort.
Eric Horstman led the Eagles with seven points in defeat. Eric Szymanowski added two points and five rebounds.
