Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hamlin of Fredonia recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with family. The two were united in marriage on Jan. 17, 1953, at the First United Methodist Church in Dunkirk. The Rev. Arthur Crawford officiated the ceremony.
Mr. Hamlin is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George F. Hamlin. Mrs. Hamlin is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth W. Milks.
Mr. Hamlin is retired from AL Tech Specialty Steel Corp. Mrs. Hamlin is retired from Brooks Memorial Hospital as a registered nurse.

The couple has been blessed with three children, the Rev. Deborah Hamlin of Fredonia; Mrs. and Mrs. Walter (Selma) Hamlin of Broken Arrow, Okla.; and Mr. and Mrs. David (Bonnie) Hamlin of Panama City, Fla. They have four grandchildren, Walter and Kelly Hamlin of Broken Arrow, Preston Hamlin of Tallahassee, Fla., and Alexander Hamlin of Panama City Beach, Fla.
