Frewsburg girls win CCAA?bowling rolloffs

Bridget Rogers and Shelby Snow carried Frewsburg to the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association bowling rolloffs title Tuesday afternoon at Jamestown Bowling Company.

Rogers shot a 646 scratch series and Snow a 238 scratch as the Bears had a 1,058-1,141-1,149-3,348 total.

Courtney Eberle of Randolph had a 266 with handicap and Genna Riddle of Fredonia a 727 with handicap.

Randolph was second with 1,034-1,090-1,081-3,205, Forestville third with 1,012-1,073-1,091-3,176, West Valley fourth with 1,074-1,079-984-3,137 and Jamestown fifth with 1,049-1,057-1,026-3,132.

Rounding out the top 10 were sixth-place Fredonia with 1,058-974-1,077-3,109, seventh-place Falconer with 994-1,063-1,049, eighth-place Dunkirk with 1,003-1,008-1,092-3,103, ninth-place Gowanda with 1,052-1,005-1,027-3,084 and 10th-place Cattaraugus-Little Valley with 1,042-1,000-1,021-3,063.

Ellicottville was 11th with 1,045-997-979-3,021, Allegany-Limestone 12th with 955-1,034-1,028-3,017, Southwestern 13th with 941-1,001-1,061-3,003, Hinsdale 14th with 976-952-1,052-2,980, Chautauqua Lake 15th with 969-993-1,009-2,971 and Clymer 16th with 934-942-1,094-2,970.

Silver Creek came in 17th with 997-947-1,006-2,950 and Salamanca 18th with 962-1,017-944-2,923.
