Mascot ready for Super Bowl

January 31, 2013
The OBSERVER

Cheers is ready for the Super Bowl. The Chautauqua County Home mascot was donated by Brocton resident Charlotte McDonnell. Jan Pincoski keeps the dog outside her office at the County Home for residents, visitors and families to enjoy. "Cheers has been our mascot for about five years and has brought smiles and joy to all residents, their families and visitors," Pincoski stated. "Families will bring up residents from the first and ground floors just to see what Cheers is doing that week. He is dressed to celebrate all holidays and occasions; military dress for the appropriate holidays to swimming in his pool during the 'dog days of summer.' Residents just smile."McDonnell provides all of the props and dress for Cheers. The goalposts were provided by ProHardware in Westfield.
