February 2, 2013
The OBSERVER

According to Dunkirk Dave, the snow will melt and spring will come early.

Many gathered at Dunkirk Dave's residence to watch handler Bob Will and Dunkirk Dave to see if a shadow would be seen. At sunrise, coaxed out of his hole by pumpkin pie, Dunkirk Dave did not see his shadow.

According to Will, Dunkirk Dave has a 93 percent accuracy record. Last year, Dunkirk Dave also predicted an early Spring last year. A complete story will be in Sunday's OBSERVER.
